Welcome to the Gujarati Samaj of Saskatchewan Inc. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BECOMING GSSK MEMBER or ATTENDING GSSK ORGANISED AND/OR SPONSORED EVENT AND/OR ANY OTHER GSSK ACTIVITY AND/OR USING GSSK WEBSITE 

By using this Website and/or upon becoming a GSSK member and/or attending GSSK organized/sponsored events and/or any other GSSK activity you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Gujarati Samaj of Saskatchewan reserves the right, at any time, to modify or update these terms and conditions, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or updates.

1. Membership Participant Agreement

1. Personal Information: I understand and agree that GSSK must collect, retain and use my personal information to enroll me as a member(s), enable me to participate in the program(s) that they may hold, provide information relating to activities & events and permit them to obtain payment, and I consent to such collection, retention, and use of information provided it will not be used for commercial purposes but GSSK Members list will be published on GSSK website. By checking the “I AGREE” box you are agreeing to these terms.

1. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for my behavior and that of my family members and will obey all the rules and regulations pertaining to the events and all related activities organized by the GSSK.
2. I understand that the GSSK and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers and other affiliates are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage of any kind sustained by me or any members of my family.
3. I acknowledge that I understand and accept the risks associated with these events and activities and consent to me and members of the family’s participation in these events and all related activities.

1. I, the Minor parents/legal guardian, understand the nature of sports activity and the Minor’s experience and capability and believe the Minor to be qualified, in good health and proper physical condition to participate in such activities organized by GSSK.
2. I, the Minor parents/legal guardian, hereby release, discharge, covenant not to SUE and agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless each of release’s form of all liability claims, demands, losses, damages or death on the minor’s account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or any part by the negligence of the released or otherwise, including negligent rescue operation.
3. I Agree that If, despite this release, I, the Minor parents/legal guardian, or anyone on the minor’s behalf makes a claim against any of the mane above, I will indemnity save and hold harmless each of the releases form any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss liability, damage or cost any may incur as the result of any such claim.
4. I grant GSSK and its successor and assign the irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, sub licensable and unrestricted right to use and publish minors or my name, voice, likeness, or image. Any photograph of minors or any materials in which minor's may be included for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manners and medium and to alter composite the same without restriction and without my inspection or approval
5. I hereby release GSSK from all claims and liability relating to any of the foregoing, including but not limited to any claims based on rights of privacy or publicity.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any GSSK Sports activities. I, for myself or personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin:

1. Sports activities involve the risk and danger of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis and death.
2. These Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or the negligence of the releases named below.
3. There may be other risks and social and economic losses either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, cost and damages I incur as a result of my participation or that of the minor I the activity.

4. I FURTHER AGREE that if despite this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim against any of the Releases, I WILL INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS EACH OF THE RELEASEES from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability, damage, or cost which may incur as the result of such claim.
5. I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW AND AGREE THAT IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID THE BALANCE, NOTWITHSTANDING, SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

1.    GENERAL EVENT PARTICIPATION RULES;

Please read and understand the following terms and conditions as they are binding for all ticket purchases.

1. No exchange or refund of tickets will be made under any circumstances
2. Tickets are not transferable.
3. Lost or damaged ticket(s) would not be entertained.
4. The tickets may be collected at the box office of the venue the date of the event 2 hours before the beginning of the event.
5. The resale of tickets is prohibited. GSSK reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold.
6. Infants in arms or children without tickets will not be admitted unless otherwise stated in event advertisements or announcements.
7. Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
8. Purchasers of tickets who are under 18 years of age should seek parental consent before purchasing tickets/merchandise from GSSK.

1.    EVENT CANCELLATIONS

GSSK reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. Our liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a full refund of the event fee only. We will not refund the following;

1. Travel or hotel costs associated with the cancellation of an event
2. Any fees relating to the joining of a Faculty or Special Interest Group with respect to the event booking.

GSSK accepts no liability if an event is canceled or postponed for reasons beyond our reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.

You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, irritants (e.g., artificial noisemakers), bundles and containers etc.

GSSK MEMBER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

1)      Personal Information: I understand and agree that GSSK must collect, retain and use my personal information to enroll me as a member(s), enable me to participate in the Program(s) that they may hold, provide information relating to activities & events and permit them to obtain payment, and I consent to such collection, retention, and use of information provided it will not be used for commercial purposes but GSSK Members list will be published on GSSK website. 2)      Photography: I understand and agree that GSSK will do photography at different events. GSSK has the rights to post events photos on their website and other events to advertise GSSK activity.

3)      Tracking & Cookies Data: GSSK Website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.
